DAY 1: ARUSHA TO SERENGETI.
Depart from Arusha airport for Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro/Oldupai Gorge, where the fossil of the first humans, called Zinjanthropus, was discovered by Dr. Lousy Leakey and Mary Leakey. Continue with an afternoon game drive. Lunch at a scenic nature spot. Dinner and overnight stay

DAY 2: HALF-DAY SAFARI IN SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO:
After breakfast, we embark on a half-day safari in Serengeti National Park. This park covers an area of 14,763 km². The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language and means "endless plains." Animals such as lion, thunderbird, and Grant's gazelle, zebra, buffalo, hippopotamus, elephant, and cheetah can be found here. Lunch will be enjoyed en route in the nature reserve. In the evening, we drive to Ngorongoro for an overnight stay You can relax in your tent in the evening.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER - ARUSHA
After breakfast, you depart at 6:30 AM for the Ngorongoro Crater. Here you'll encounter unique attractions near this historic caldera, where humans and wildlife coexist without harming each other. Have the chance to observe wildlife such as lion, elephant, hippo, wildebeest, warthog, and zebra, and also see Lake Magadi, the Lerai Forest, and the Ngoitokito Swamp. After lunch, we drive to Arusha airport or to your hotel.

June . Because it's so early in the year, it's called the "green season" because the game parks are greener than green during these months! Moreover, millions of ungulates are found in the central Seronera Valley of the Serengeti. This is also the time when babies are born everywhere. The wildlife is so abundant that traveling during this magnificent time is rewarding.
This trip has short daily distances. You'll also stay overnight at prime locations within the parks. This way, you won't lose any valuable time and will have maximum time for the safaris!

Enjoy a walking safari in Arusha National Park.
You'll begin at Momella Gate (the park entrance) and walk through this beautiful area with an armed ranger.
Enjoy the impressive rainforest flora, the birds and animals, and the volcanic landscape of Mount Meru and the Ngurdoto Crater.
During the walk, you'll have views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro on a clear day.
Common animals include giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, dik-dik, black-and-white colobus monkey, blue monkey, flamingo, and numerous bird species.

Day 3: Lake Manyara
Our guide will drive you to Lake Manyara in 3 hours. The park has a variety of diverse habitats from evergreen underground forests, woodlands, extensive swamps and Grasslands home to various flora and fauna worth visiting. Safari trip in Lake Manyara National Park will give you an opportunity to shoot various wildlife documentaries and sceneries. We will spend the rest of the day on safari here.

Day 4: Serengeti
Wake up at the luxury lodge and enjoy a delicious breakfast! After breakfast, our guide will drive you to the world-famous Serengeti. The Serengeti (derived from the Masai Siringet; literally: endless plains. Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the most famous wildlife park in the world. It is incomparable to any other park in terms of beauty and ecological value.
More than three million animals (35 different species, including the Big Five) live here on the endless savannas.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera (collapsed volcanic cone) in the world. The crater is estimated to be home to 25,000 large mammals permanently, and 500,000 at its peak, making it one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world. Marvel at the high density of predators and ungulates within the crater!
At the end of the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Arusha.

Day 8: Arusha day of culture
After breakfast, you'll embark on a day of culture. You'll visit the Cultural Heritage Centre. The center showcases Africa's cultural heritage with beautiful artworks in various galleries. It's the only collection of its kind in the world, ranging from African antiques to contemporary paintings and sculpture. Shanga & Shanga Foundation: Shanga is a successful social enterprise that employs people with disabilities to create unique, high-quality, handmade jewelry and glassware. Day 1: Arusha
Your guide will pick you up at Kilimanjaro Airport and warmly welcome you to "Karibu Tanzania."
He will take you to your hotel, and while enjoying a drink, you will receive a briefing for the coming days.

Day 2: Materuni and Lake Chala
After breakfast, we drive to the village of Materuni, where we'll take a nature walk in the Marangu area and visit communities engaged in cultural tourism to experience their living culture. Take a dip in the water formed by the waterfalls and enjoy a hot lunch with a coffee-making demonstration.
Then we drive to Lake Chala, located near the Kenyan border. Lake Chala is a caldera lake fed by clean, cold underground streams flowing from Mount Kilimanjaro itself. It is known for its dazzling, ever-changing colors: from deep turquoise to emerald green to azure, and every shade in between. It's the perfect place to relax, swim in the refreshing water, or hike in the picturesque landscape surrounding the lake.
Canoeing is also available for €6 per hour.

Day 3: Mkomazi National Park
After a delicious breakfast, we depart for Mkomazi National Park, a true safari paradise.
At the entrance, you'll transfer to an open government safari vehicle, which you'll drive into the reserve with a ranger. You'll visit the Mbula Rhino Sanctuary, a protected area within the park home to more than 35 rhinos. You'll encounter few other safari jeeps here and will be able to admire the impressive black rhinos up close. You'll also encounter animals such as giraffes, antelope, buffalo, lions, and leopards.
In the evening, you'll relish all the impressions you've gained that day. After a dinner under the stars, you'll drift off to sleep surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Today we drive to the Usambara Mountains, with their lush green mountains south of Mkomazi National Park. Because this area is ideal for hiking, we'll take a guided walk. This hike takes you over rolling hills, past waterfalls, farmland, plantations, picturesque villages, and colorful markets.

Day 6: Swahili Coast
After breakfast, we depart for the Swahili Coast. The Swahili Coast in Tanzania is a historically and culturally rich region, known for its beautiful beaches, unique culture, and diverse wildlife. The beaches and coral reefs along the Swahili Coast near Pangani are among the most beautiful on the Tanzanian mainland. Here you'll find stunning white beaches lined with palm trees, as well as surprising natural beauty and remnants of a rich past.
It's wonderful to relax on the beach after arriving.

Day 7:Maziwe Island
Today you're scheduled to visit Maziwe Island. You'll be picked up from your hotel by boat and taken to the island. Your driver has brought snorkeling gear, so don't forget your swimsuit. You'll have plenty of time to explore the underwater world!

Days 8 and 9: Saadani National Park
After breakfast, we depart for Saadani National Park, a park bordering the water. In Saadani National Park, the animals live right on the Indian Ocean.
It's truly special to spot all those animals in Tanzania's newest national park. We'll see elephants, lions, leopards, and buffalo coming to the Indian Ocean. What's even more special is that there's a good chance we'll see them walking along the beach. We'll also see waterbucks, gazelles, giraffes, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, and baboons.
Meet the locals by visiting their village. See where the children learn and watch the daily lives of the local men and women on an excursion to the local Saadani village. The villagers are keen and excited to meet travellers from foreign lands. The villagers love to entertain guests with their localtraditions and teach about their way of life.
How wonderful it is to go on safari during the day and relax on the beach in the evening!

Day 10: Dar es Salaam Airport
It's all coming to an end. Today you'll depart for home from Dar es Salaam Airport. We certainly hope that you go home with a suitcase full of beautiful memories.

Tanzania boasts many impressive lakes, where the scenery is breathtaking and a wealth of animal species call it home. During this 11-day tour, you'll visit two of Tanzania's most famous lakes: Lake Natron and Lake Manyara. Both are unique and an absolute must-see if you want to explore Northern Tanzania. You'll see sleeping hippos and hunting crocodiles, as well as numerous flamingos and pelicans.
But no safari is complete without visiting the famous parks. That's why we also visit the most beautiful national parks on the Northern Circuit. Serengeti National Park is a must. Finally, you'll also visit the Ngorongoro Crater with its rare black rhino and Tarangire National Park with its large herds of elephants.
Day 1: Arusha
After a long flight, you'll arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, where your guide will be waiting. He'll take you safely and quickly to your first accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you'll have time to relax by the pool and recover from the long journey.

Day 2: Arusha National Park
Once you've finished breakfast and packed your bags, you'll board the safari jeep and head to Arusha National Park with your private guide. This park is known for its abundance of birdlife. You'll be amazed by the scenery, especially as Mount Meru dominates the landscape. After an initial introduction to the park with a game drive, you'll continue to your accommodation, where you'll spend your second night. This accommodation is nestled in the heart of nature, where zebras and wildebeest happily graze on the grass surrounding your tent.

Day 3: Lake Manyara/ Lake Natron
Today we'll first visit Lake Manyara National Park. As soon as you enter the park, you'll drive into a wooded area. Take a good look around, especially in the trees, because Lake Manyara is home to the rare lions that hang in the trees. Once you leave the forests behind, you'll arrive at Lake Manyara itself and be greeted by hippos, pelicans, and flamingos, among other animals. Time to move on and visit the next lake. The journey continues to Lake Natron, where you'll spend the night.

Day 4: Ngare Sero watervallen en Hominid Footprints
Enjoy a beautiful nature walk to the Ngare Sero waterfalls. A Maasai guide will teach you all the facts about this area, and you'll have the chance to take a refreshing dip at this beautiful waterfall. Then, continue to the Hominid Footprints. Together with your Maasai guide, you'll follow in the footsteps of our ancestors. A fascinating excursion that will teach you more about the history of this area.

Lake Natron, a well-known lake teeming with pink flamingos, is the breeding ground for millions of flamingos. During the morning walk with your Maasai guide, you'll learn all about the lake and these beautiful flamingos. After lunch, you'll hop back in the jeep and continue your journey to your accommodation

Day 6: Pololeti Game Reserve
If you're an early bird, get up early to watch the sunrise. It's an incredible sight, as the world turns golden yellow. Meanwhile, a delicious breakfast awaits you, and then you'll embark on another game drive. Today you'll explore Pololeti Game Reserve, a hidden gem in Northern Tanzania. Numerous big cats roam here foraging for prey, elephants roam freely, and buffalo graze at their leisure. At the end of the day, you'll return to your accommodation, where you'll spend another night in a traditionally built boma.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park
Today you'll travel from Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti. A route straight through the national park, and of course, your driver will stop for any wildlife you spot; he'll use his expertise to tell you all about it. You'll watch the landscape change, and you'll occasionally drift off to the endless expanse that is Serengeti National Park. You can relive and share all your experiences from today with your travel companions or other guests in the lounge of your accommodation. This accommodation is located on the edge of Serengeti National Park, where wildlife knows no boundaries.

Day 8:Serengeti National Park
One day in Serengeti isn't enough. Did you also enjoy the sound of wildlife walking next to your tent? It doesn't get much more special than this. Today you can once again explore the pristine nature and its wildlife: giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many other wild animals. Would you rather see the animals at work from the air during sunrise? Then book an additional hot air balloon ride over Serengeti National Park. Around noon, you'll head towards South Serengeti, as your next accommodation is in Ndutu. Just outside the national park, yet in the heart of nature where the wildlife lives.

Day 9: Ngorongoro
Wake up to the creaking of passing elephants and the whistling of various bird species. It's wonderful to wake up like this. Today, we have another unique experience planned: the Ngorongoro Crater, also known as the 8th Wonder of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient volcano has dried up, creating a whole new ecosystem. The Big Five can be spotted here, along with many other animal species. A unique experience and unparalleled natural beauty. After a day of safari adventures, it's time to drive to Karatu, a small local village where our accommodation is located on a hilltop.

Day 10: Tarangire National Park
From Karatu, you'll continue your journey to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is home to a wide variety of animal species. Large herds of elephants roam the park, and if you're lucky, you might even spot one or more young ones. A river runs right through the park, where the animals love to drink and cool off. Savor these unique moments. After a beautiful and impressive day, you'll drive to your final accommodation: Africa Safari Arusha. Enjoy the many experiences and memories in the beautiful garden. And then we say Lala Salama (Sleep tight!)

Day 11: The end of your safari

Each evening, you return to the comfort of Kontiki Camp, where you can reflect on the day's adventures over a delicious meal and a peaceful night in the wilderness.
